There is an update available for your
PIPE-FLO Professional 2007 Program.
This will update PIPE-FLO® 2007 to the latest build
(revision A).
Eligibility for this update can be found in the
following manner:
Go to the Help menu in PIPE-FLO and choose About.
If the version says 10.01, no update is required.
If the Version does not say 10.01 click on the link
below to update your software.
Download the Update
After your download has completed extract the
files to a common folder. Browse to that folder you
just created then run the SETUP.EXE and follow the
installation prompts that appear on your screen.
Since Overtime is linked to PIPE-FLO, the new
update to Overtime must be installed when you update
your PIPE-FLO to the maintenance release.

Overtime Update
Items Resolved in the 2007a PIPE-FLO
Maintenance Release:
We have eliminated the movement of text on the
FLO-SHEET seen in larger systems. The text movement
feature was originally created to “bump” the text
off of components when a calculation was performed
however with large systems, this would cause the
text to move too far away from the component and it
would not reset when zoomed in. The “bump text”
feature has now been removed. If you have a large
system where the text has been bumped and you wish
to have all the text on your FLO-SHEET reset to its
original position, contact our technical support at
(360) 292-4060.
- The pump transfer issue identified in Program
Bulletin #006 07
(http://www.eng-software.com/kb/item.aspx?article=1467)
has been resolved. This issue was not seen on a
majority of systems, only on certain speed CPUs did
it cause the pump transfer from the selection module
to the FLO-Sheet to fail.
- Control Valves have been improved to show
choking in the Automatic Set setting as well when
valve performance data is provided. This issue was
documented in Program Bulletin #005_07
(http://www.eng-software.com/kb/item.aspx?article=1460)
and has now been resolved.
- The copy & paste feature from one PIPE-FLO
system to another PIPE-FLO system has been improved
so you no longer need to have the <Design Case>
lineup present in both systems. This issue was
documented in Program Bulletin #002_07
(http://www.eng-software.com/kb/item.aspx?article=1449)
and has now been resolved.
- Control valve modeling has been improved to more
accurately define performance when the flow rate is
near Qmax. This update may cause a change to
calculated flows and pressures (if near Qmax) in a
control valve with Cv data defined.
- In some isolated cases, abnormal flow and
pressure values (taking the form of “-1.#IO” were
recorded. This was seen in some isolated cases with
low flow rates. This issue was documented in Program
Bulletin #004_07
(http://www.eng-software.com/kb/item.aspx?article=1459)
and has now been resolved.
- The System Resistance Curve (SRC) for a system
with flow meters has been improved. You now must
have only sized orifices present in your system to
generate a SRC.
- The installation of the XLink macro has been
improved and will now be installed to all users of
the machine instead of just the user account which
installed PIPE-FLO.
- When importing a 2005 system into 2007, some
user curve units & speed data was mislabeled. This
issue was documented in Program Bulletin #003_07
(http://www.eng-software.com/kb/item.aspx?article=1453)and
has now been resolved. Note: this resolution does
not change performance data which is correct, only
updates labels to indicate the correct units and
fixes the erroneous warnings produced.
