What is the PIPE-FLO Viewer Software?

The PIPE-FLO Viewer software displays a piping system model in a proprietary Piping System Viewer (PSV) format. Using the PIPE-FLO Viewer program you gain a clear picture of the total piping system operation, along with access to piping system design data.

What program creates the Piping System Viewer (PSV) file?

The PSV file is created by Engineered Software's PIPE-FLO Professional program. Using PIPE-FLO Professional, the user draws the piping system model, enters pipeline design data, selects pumps and control valves, and sets up a variety of operating scenarios. After completing the piping system model in PIPE-FLO Professional, the user has the option of creating the read-only PSV file.

Do I need a copy of PIPE-FLO Professional to see how the system operates?

No. The PIPE-FLO Viewer program and the PSV file are all that you need to review the results.

What can the PIPE-FLO Viewer show me?

The PIPE-FLO Viewer displays all the information entered in the PIPE-FLO Professional model. This information includes:

• The FLO-Sheet, a piping schematic drawing showing the pumps, heat exchangers, filters, components, control valves, and tanks along with the interconnecting pipelines.

• The design details, including the detailed equipment information supplied by the pump and control valve manufacturers.

• The calculated pressure and flows show how the system operates under a variety of operating scenarios or lineups.

• Printed reports documenting the results. Reports can also be saved as PDF (portable document format) files.

Who can use the PIPE-FLO Viewer?

The piping system model in PSV form is an excellent way to provide:
