The recipient opens the PVS file using the free PIPE-FLO Viewer program by Engineered Software. The PIPE-FLO Viewer provides a clear picture of how the piping system operates by including:

• A piping schematic showing the equipment, interconnecting pipelines, and drawing notes.
• The calculated results on the piping schematic showing the balanced flow rates and pressures, along with detailed operation of the pumps, control valves, and tanks.
• The ability to choose between pre-defined lineups to see how the piping system operates under a variety of conditions.
• Hypertext access to Websites and electronic documents from within the piping system model using FLO-Links.
• The ability to print and e-mail any calculated results to document the operation of the piping system.

Since the PSV file is a read-only version of the piping system model, recipients cannot make any changes, even if they have a copy of the PIPE-FLO professional program.
