Evaluate the system under a variety of operating conditions
The same Piping System Model provides design data used in PIPE-FLO’s steady - state simulation and Overtime’s dynamic simulation eliminating the need to create separate models for each program.
Evaluate various control logic options for the same Piping System Model by creating multiple Overtime projects.
Using PIPE-FLO’s lineup feature you can simulate the startup sequence with the system tanks at a high level, low level, and normal levels simply by changing the PIPE-FLO lineup before running the Overtime dynamic simulation.
Using Overtime you can consider different control logic options and see how they effect the operation of the system. In this example the High level fill port 1 event is de-activated so an alternate set point can be evaluated.
