Fluid Fundamentals Training Courses

All Fluid Fundamentals Training Courses are designed and taught by our engineers who have over 25 years of experience in piping system design. Our instructors are people who know how a piping system works and should be designed.

Our classes are designed for developing core competencies and essential skill sets, giving you the ability to take what you've learned and apply it directly back on the job.

We partner with leading companies to give you unrivaled training. Engineered Software has collaborated with Crane Co. to provide you with the most comprehensive training you can receive on fluid and gas piping systems.

Piping System Fundamentals Courses
The Piping System Fundamentals training is a two-day course designed to give you the skills needed to fully understand fluid piping systems and successfully troubleshoot changes or additions to any piping system situation.

Piping System Fundamentals uses a minimum of math formulas with an emphasis on understanding the relationships between components making up a piping system.

Pumps are an integral part of your industry. Yet engineers, operators, and maintenance technicians are seldom fully trained to handle the pump problems they encounter daily.

A good understanding of proper pump application, selection, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is vital to the success of your company. Now you can learn everything you need to know about pumps at a short course in pumps taught by a recognized pump expert.

Course instructor, Michael Volk, has been a consultant on pumps for the past 25 years, after working in engineering and operations with one of the world’s leading pump manufacturers. Volk has taught hundreds of pump courses worldwide, including the most successful course ever held at the prestigious International Pump Users Symposium in each of the past ten years. Read More

Opportunities to Improve Life Cycle Performance
The Hydraulic Institute and Pump Systems Matter have teamed up to create a one-day Pumping System Optimization course that provides attendees with the information needed to conduct basic assessments of their pumping systems. Case studies will be discussed throughout the course. Hands-on group exercises are an integral part of this course including: How to estimate the annual energy cost of a pumping system, how to match a system curve/pump curve and determine if the right pump is being used and how to improve a pumping system and the life cycle costs of each improvement.
