Engineered Software, Inc. Names New Software Development Manager
LACEY,
Washington - Engineered Software, Inc., developer of
the award winning PIPE-FLO and PUMP-FLO design and selection
programs, today announced the naming of Steven Stoyles, as its
new Software Development Manager. Stoyles brings with him over
30 years of experience in software development, business
analysis, database modeling and project management to this new
position.
Despite the economic turmoil, Engineered
Software has shown a marked upturn in the last fiscal year, and
has increased staff and hours to part-time positions by 7% since
October 2009.
"Steve brings more than 30 years of technology
leadership from a wide array of industries to his position at
ESI. I believe he will be an asset in strengthening the
communication between the business and technical groups," said
Michael Blondin, Chief Operating Officer of Engineered Software
Inc. "I have no doubt that he will excel in leading our diverse
group of software developers as we continue the legacy of
creating the world’s most widely used hydraulic analysis and
pump selection software programs."
In his new role with Engineered Software,
Inc., Stoyles will focus on creating a cohesive team atmosphere
in the development and programming departments, guiding the
efforts in architectural and technical product development. He
will also be responsible for coordinating the company’s product
lifecycle management including designing and instituting new
quality and process practices for both departments.
About Steven Stoyles
Steven Stoyles is newly joining the Engineered Software family
and has over 30 years of experience in business technology
development and management. Stoyles holds a B.S. in Business
Administration from Oregon State University in Corvallis,
Oregon. Stoyles received his Washington State CPA license in
1983. Stoyles previously worked for the Weyerhaeuser Company for
over 17 years, working in multiple analyst and consulting
positions and finishing with the company as a Development
Manager.
Stoyles draws on his strong mix of business
and information technology skills working with Tuttle & Co. in
Gig Harbor, WA, the Washington Mutual Capital Corporation in
Seattle, WA both in the position of Project Manager. Most
recently, Stoyles returned to the Weyerhaeuser Corporation as a
Business Analyst for the Federal Way, WA corporate headquarters.
