Please note: This is a fulltime, non contractual
position.
Engineered Software, Inc produces software to perform
engineering calculations and select industrial equipment. We
have a dedicated team of engineers, programmers and
sales/marketing professionals. Together we design & implement
cutting edge software solutions for engineering design and
troubleshooting applications. We sell those solutions directly
to a vertical market from the large industrial users to small
consulting engineering firms. We are known for being a leader
and innovator within our industry both in the U.S. and globally.
Engineered Software is growing software company in Lacey WA, 60
miles from Seattle, in a quiet suburban area at the south end of
Puget Sound. We have grown steadily over the past 20 years,
resulting from the teamwork of many talented and long-time
employees.

We are looking for a new team member to join our programming
staff. Our programmers are involved in all phases of
development: collaborating directly with top notch engineers,
designing program features, creating user interfaces, writing
new code, updating existing code, and aiding in testing. Our
programmers are also called upon to assist in other areas, such
as writing installation scripts and occasionally providing
customer support.
Technical qualifications:

Associate Degree in Computer Science or related experience.

Strong C# and object oriented programming skills

Experience in web development and database design

Math or engineering background is desirable

Experience in C++ is beneficial

Salary range for this position is $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 and
will be determined based on qualifications and experience. We
have a full benefits package, however no relocation is
available.

We are currently hiring an account executive for our Flow of Fluids brand. This
person will be part of our growing sales and marketing team.
Duties for the account executive position include, but are
not limited to, the following:
- Call on assigned “pre-qualified” leads
and determine their product needs, where they are in the
sales cycle and follow them to the close.
- Call on existing customers and sell
additional program licenses, technical support, and training
seminars.
- Actively search out new prospective
customers from existing customers and program users.
- Assist customers in purchasing a variety
of engineering publications.
- Must be capable of quickly obtaining a
working understanding of our products and the vertical
markets we serve.
- Record all steps of the sales cycle and
follow-up correspondence in a Customer Relation Management (CRM)
program.
- Provide sales and marketing with current
information about customers wants, desires, and status of
the competition.
Provide feedback on why customer did or did not purchase the
software.
- Provide sales management with sufficient
information to forecast sales.
Skills and Knowledge
- Must be a good listener, and
have the ability to determine customers needs.
- Qualification skills are
necessary.
- Must work well with others.
- Must have a strong phone
presence.
- Experience in working with
Customer Relation Management software a plus.
- Experience in selling
business-to-business software or mechanical equipment found in process piping
systems a plus.
Education
- BA preferred, AA required.
- Credit will be given for industry experience.
Must have at least 1-2 years
of sales experience.
Compensation:
Salary for this position will include base salary plus
commission. We offer a full benefits package, however no
relocation is available.

Territory Manager (Sales):
Step into a role in an established territory- selling software
to engineers both domestically and internationally. If you have
prior selling success and possess strong prospecting and closing
skills, this is the position for you.
Engineer: We utilize
engineers (ME, ChE or CE) that have a working knowledge of how
to analyze fluid piping systems, compressible gas systems, paper
stock piping systems, or pump selection. Our engineers fill many
roles- piping system analysis support, product training,
pre-sales engineering support, engineering feature development
of analysis software packages, documentation, and more. A
knowledge of process Logic Controllers and their use in the
field is also a skill that is beneficial.
Software Developers (Some in Test):
Our developers have strong object oriented design and
programming skills, and opportunities to work with the latest
development techniques and technologies. They work in a very
creative and collaborative environment supporting an industry
leading product.
CAD Digitization Technician:
Prints and organizes paper catalog in preparation for
digitization. Digitizes pump performance curves. Tests digitized
curves using PUMP-FLO software for any anomalies. Beneficial
Skills include: ability to read and correctly interpret
information from a graph, type 40 words per minute, 10 key
knowledge, proficiency with MS Outlook and Excel and familiarity
with basic PC and network file organization.
Office Personnel: We
utilize office personnel who have extraordinary organizational
aptitude. Additional skills in accounting, invoicing, and order
taking, handling customer inquiries and handling day to day
office needs are a necessary requirement.
Internship- Co-op Positions
Available:
Engineered Software has an active
internship/ Co-op program for college and university students
majoring in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, Computer
Science, and Marketing. All interns and Co-ops will be working
on active projects and receive compensation.
