PIPE-FLO Feature of the Month
New Method for Entering Process
Fluid Pump Curves

The procedure used to specify “Process Fluid” pump data has changed for PIPE-FLO Professional 2007 and Flow of Fluids version 2007. In previous versions, if a user had pump curve data that had already been corrected for the viscosity of a particular process fluid, the user would select the Process Fluid Radio Button in the Pump Curve dialog box. In version 2007, the user simply has to enter the curve data without entering any efficiency data. In the absence of efficiency data, the program will not perform any viscosity corrections for flow, head or efficiency.
