Last Chance to Buy Before Our Prices Increase!

As announced in our last e-newsletter, for the first time in five years we will be raising the prices on all of our products effective October 1, 2005. Over the past five years we have greatly improved all of our programs, adding countless features and functionality. In order to continue to expand our programs and offer the services and support that our customers are accustomed to, the increase in pricing is necessary.
Call us before October 1st to take advantage of our current pricing!
If you have any questions about the price increases, call us at (800) 786-8545 or email us at sales@eng-software.com.

PIPE-FLO Feature of the Month
Analyzing a System With Pipes or Ducts With Noncircular Cross-sections

PIPE-FLO assumes a circular cross-section for its pressure drop equations. However, if you are analyzing a system that uses pipes or ducts with noncircular cross-sections, you can build a custom pipe table with equivalent diameters.
For step-by-step instructions on Using Equivalent Diameter, visit http http://www.eng-software.com/kb/item.aspx?article=1371. For more tips and hints, visit our knowledge base at www.eng-software.com.

Real World Examples of PIPE-FLO Saving Time and Money

Saving energy and maintenance costs using PIPE-FLO.
Schendt Engineering Corporation is a veteran-owned, emerging small business that was established in July 1999 to provide engineering design services to commercial, institutional, industrial, and governmental clients.
Ted B. Schendt, P.E. and Principal of Schendt Engineering has used PIPE-FLO since 1997 to conduct hydraulic analysis of chilled water, high temperature water, natural gas and steam distribution systems, primarily on large campus settings.
“PIPE-FLO allows us to do scenario analysis which would be too complicated to do manually. When we are working on large systems we do multiple runs, constantly doing modifications to analyze the system. PIPE-FLO makes that process easy,” said Ted B. Schendt, P.E. and Principal of Schendt Engineering.
