When downloading the
PIPE-FLO Demo we suggest you copy the file to the
Windows Desktop. The PIPE-FLO Demo consists of a
single file that does not require installation on
your computer.
To start the demo click on the PIPE-FLO Demo
icon.
To learn what PIPE-FLO has to offer, there are a
series of PIPE-FLO tutorials and example piping
systems available for you to work with:
-
PIPE-FLO Product Tour
These short
web based slideshows demonstrate how the
PIPE-FLO program can draw piping systems,
perform system calculations, select pumps
and control valves, and see how the total
system operates.

-
Hands-On Tutorial
The PIPE-FLO
Demo includes a built in tutorial with
step-by-step instructions showing how to
draw the piping schematic, size the
pipelines, select pumps and control valves,
and see how the parts operate as a complete
piping system.
-
Case Studies
On the
PIPE-FLO Demo you will find 9 case studies
that you can follow to see how people like
yourself use PIPE-FLO to design, analyze,
troubleshoot and maintain fluid piping
systems. After opening a project, click on
the FLO-Link to access step-by-step
instructions located on the Engineered
Software Website. Then you can follow the
case study with your demo.

Build Your Own System
Using the
PIPE-FLO Demo you can model your own piping
system by inserting the tanks, pumps,
controls, and components on the FLO-Sheet.
Then draw and size the connecting pipelines.
If your system is five pipelines or smaller,
you can calculate the results right in the
demo. If you decide to model a larger
system, when you've finish, e-mail the
project file to
sales@eng-software.com. Our engineers
will review your system, provide some tips
and hints, and return your system so you can
calculate the balanced pressures and flow
rates using your PIPE-FLO demo. You can turn
pumps on and off, close and open pipelines,
and change tank levels. The PIPE-FLO Demo
then calculates your system and shows how
the system operates
